Missouri has taken an important first step toward preserving our night sky from light pollution. We have officially formed a chapter as part of the International Dark Sky Association. What I have found delightful is to suddenly find myself connected to an amazing network of amateurs and professionals who are passionate about reducing light pollution.
In talking with friends and neighbors, I realize that most people aren't really wanting more light pollution. They just don't think of light pollution as an issue. They don't realize that simple steps will make all the difference in saving energy and reducing light pollution.
This is my first blog on our new chapter's website. I would love to hear and share your stories about light pollution issues. Please reach out to me through the Contact area of this website. Thank you for visiting!
